CNN on India’s Health Care System

Here is an excerpt video of feature broadcast by CNN talking and comparing healthcare scenario in many countries. Comparison to USA is made to show that our life expectancy, expenditure on health – per capita spending, and healthcare consumption of the GDP…. is way too less.  And like always, India is conveniently (and mostly) about inaccessible healthcare, poverty, malnutrition, child mortality and more.

This disparity between the public and private sector in healthcare, the level and quality of services, the facilites and budget allocation – are something to mull about. The video does not project Indian healthcare system as good, but it does highlight the age-old problems that have still not been adressed by the country.
